A Day in the Life at KLD: Some of the most exciting things about a new season here are the custom fabrics. Ever wonder where Krista gets her inspiration for these one-of-a-kind prints? Oftentimes she looks to nature, but other times it comes from something she has painted in the past.

Here is an example of a print inspired by a mural Krista painted on her daughter’s bedroom wall. She also had this gorgeous photograph of an owl (taken by Krista) turned into a fabric.
